Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, RISC in Seattle, Washington

Description

The RISC Product team is seeking an experienced Sr Product Manager- Tech to set the vision and change the paradigm for how customers purchase and safely use products.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving a multi-year vision that changes the paradigm for how customers purchase and safely use products. You will be responsible for facilitating external partnerships as well as working cross functionally with internal teams spanning business, engineering, design, category management, machine learning, customer service, legal, and operations functions to effectively implement your solutions.

Candidates must excel in communicating complex technical and operational issues in clear business language and you must be comfortable performing in a highly collaborative environment and working with your peers to accomplish the objectives of the organization

Key job responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize key technology improvements and platforms necessary to meet RISC 3 year vision goals

•Developing the long-term strategy of the product roadmap with short term deliverables

• Identifying and implementing scalable metrics to constantly track our progress.

• Auditing our existing products, technologies, while using your knowledge to enhance these checks and launch new controls while keeping Selling Partner Experience as best in class

• Partnering with risk managers, tech, business and policy teams to help identify and create technology enhancements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
