Amazon Sr. Product Manager Tech, Low ASP Economics and Experiences in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Low ASP Economics and Experiences (LeeP) team’s vision is for Amazon to be the preferred place where customers shop Everyday Essentials (EE) products.

LeeP is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead and own the Virtual Multipack (VMP) product. VMP (live for retail offers in US, EU5, IN and JP) bundles existing products with themselves to create custom pack sizes, removing the need to create corresponding physical hard bundles. VMP enables Retail teams to drive pack hierarchy strategies to reduce cost-to-serve customers through consolidation with multi-unit shipments and primarily addresses pack size gaps for <$25 selection that customers frequently purchase in multiples. Typically, VMP is offered as a pack size variant of the base ASIN, allowing us to utilize the search relevance, reviews, and price matching rules of the base ASIN for the VMP. However, there is also flexibility to suppress the base ASIN in cases where the single pack offer is LTFCF negative.

In this role, the Sr. PM works closely with Senior leaders, Software Development teams, Economists and Applied Scientists, Category Leaders, Business Operations Specialists and Vendor Managers to leverage VMPs in to help drive growth and savings across Low ASP categories. The Sr. PM also manages the 1 yr roadmap and 3 year vision for the product. The PM will identify new opportunities to leverage VMPs and ways to improve the current VMP discovery, CX, and adoption.

Key job responsibilities

Own the 1 year VMP roadmap. This roadmap will be informed by PRFAQs and business requirement documents written by the Sr. PM outlining new features.

Set a clear 3 year vision and work closely with technical stakeholders to align on this vision. Part of this includes negotiating with internal teams to align on OP1 requests.

Clearly share written and spoken updates to senior leaders through regular flash reports and QBR updates.

Engage with internal stakeholder teams to negotiate improvements to the VMP CX.

Develop auditing mechanisms to ensure an impeccable VMP CX for Amazon customers.

Engage with program management team to understand vendor and seller needs to further grow VMP adoption with selling partners.
