Here at Seller University, education is our business. We are a team of passionate individuals tasked with providing content, tools and experiences to drive sellers’ success on Amazon. We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager - Technical to own and innovate on the suite of experiences that deliver education to our millions of sellers. From owning and iterating on Seller University’s homepage experience, scaling integrations in partner applications, developing scalable live education tech, and experimenting with applications of generative AI - you will have ample space to test and learn in this role.

You will be responsible for setting the product vision, including the technical roadmap for key technology initiatives for Seller University. This leader will work closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions to support the organization's strategic objectives around improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost optimization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a bold product strategy and vision for the next generation of educational experiences for Amazon’s millions of sellers, driven by internal and external analysis

  • Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle - from ideation to development to launch

  • Define creative, high quality, and long-term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision

  • Develop detailed and crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load

  • Utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across disciplines and levels in the organization

  • Contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategies related to a product

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

Amazon Seller University's mission is to educate global sellers with high-quality, multi-modality content covering tools, features, and programs, to empower and equip them to run a successful business. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience with content tools, including learning management and content management systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
