JPMorgan Chase Product Experience Lead in Seattle, Washington

As a Product Experience Lead on the Data Marketplace team, you'll be working on a data product that will transform how our customers discover, access, and use data within Chase! Your knowledge of the ways users engage with online products and tools will help create the experiences that will shape the Analytics community for years to come. You will be responsible for designing innovative customer journeys that provide a seamless, easy to use, end-to-end workflow that spans across data publishing, discovery, access, and consumption as well as user engagement features like community sharing, reviewing, and rating. You will have a keen understanding of the product's target audience and in-depth knowledge of relevant product features. You will collaborate with our product and technology teams to develop innovative concepts and your work will help drive feature requirements and roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product and Technical teams, content producers, researchers, and developers to produce and improve product artifacts.

  • Partner with Product to aggregate, analyze, and act on customer data to improve customer engagement.

  • Create the end-to-end artifacts for delightful customer experiences for multiple products.

  • Lead usability testing, customer interviews, and customer feedback to ensure we are building customer centric solutions.

  • Use business requirements, competitive analysis, research findings, and your skills developing delightful experiences to help identify use cases and high-level requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 6+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.

  • 6+ years of experience designing for web-based, responsive, and accessible applications.

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 7+ years equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated functional and technical expertise with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in best practices for web-based application information architecture design, design patterns, usability principles, and techniques.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using and contributing to (atomic) design systems, both for consistency of branding and for efficiency in code.

  • An available online portfolio.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • A master's degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related UX degree.

  • Visual and graphic design experience.

  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Good storytelling skills will raise the bar!

  • Experience conducting user research, analyzing quantitative customer data, and gathering other voice of customer data
