Come work on the Amazon Prime Air Team! We are expanding in the US and Internationally. Prime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. HRBP who can build and execute our people initiatives across the global organization, providing great internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute plans to scale operations in US and Internationally

  • Examine situations thoroughly, check for and mitigate personal biases, and make high-judgment decisions that align with the intent of policies and minimize risk. Ensure fair and consistent application of all company policies and compliance with laws and regulations. Take partners or escalate when next steps are unclear.

  • Prioritize the employee experience and following up on matters that are critical to protecting it, such as safety, pay and scheduling. Propose solutions and take partners to resolve issues quickly. Ensure that next steps are consistently communicated to employees.

  • Participate in talent development and talent management processes with business leadership. Respectfully challenge talent outcomes and ensure business leaders are trained to conduct effective career growth and performance management discussions. Provide feedback and coach leaders to successfully manage complex employee issues while meeting organizational goals.

  • Use data and metrics to identify trends, anticipate business needs, and implement action plans focused on employee experience and organizational health.

  • Set culture and talent goals with business leaders. -Review culture and talent management data regularly, create action plans to address opportunities and routinely assess their effectiveness. Champion change focused on creating and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all employees.

  • Implements employee engagement strategies to foster an environment based on respect and values

  • Develops and executes a life-cycle approach to HR programs such as performance management, compensation cycles, and talent management by assessing organizational performance, defining talent gaps and proposing solutions in support of business objectives

  • Coaches and consults on organizational design and management issues, as well as challenging and/or influencing decision-making processes

  • Streamlines and implements new processes to create speed, efficiency and agility within the organization

  • Lead change management efforts around culture and process evolution

  • Partners with HRP team and business leaders on employee relations escalations, trends and policy management

  • Collaborates with leaders to execute recruitment, on boarding and training initiatives and internal mobility

  • Leverages partnerships and business acumen to enable the creation and implementation of strategies in alignment with business priorities and goals

  • Immerses into the organization to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and clients on all levels

  • Foster leadership success as a proactive thought partner anticipating the business cycles and serving as a consultant during periods of change management, as well as leveraging business data, metrics and external market insights to inform decisions

  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to understand business goals as well as design and implement new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

This PXT team supports Prime Air. Prime Air's mission is to is to bring 30-min drone delivery to customers globally! We are making history!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

  • 5-7+ years of human resources generalist experience.

  • Experience partnering with business leaders as an influential and credible senior HR leader

  • Proficiency with HRIS Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or MBA in HRM preferred

  • 10+ years of HR experience with background in tech, operations and corporate HRBP roles

  • Prior Experience scaling operations in US and Internationally; global expansion experience.

  • Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.

  • Human Resources experience with companies supporting 250-500 or more associates

  • Experience in HRBP role with prior tech organization experience

  • Develops solutions and is comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions

  • Must be able to operates with autonomy and discretion with a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

  • Demonstrated experience with rapid and complex changing work environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
