Amazon Sr. Business Analyst - Devices, Traffic Growth in Seattle, Washington

The Amazon Devices Traffic Growth team is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to lead and drive insights and analysis connected to Amazon Devices marketing and traffic. This role will be responsible for providing regular analysis and insight to marketing channel and Devices product line leaders to inform optimizations across onsite and offsite campaigns. This role will be expected to proactively identify trends and facilitate analysis to identify issues and opportunities that impact Devices and Amazon wide traffic. The ideal Sr. Business Analyst will have an extensive background in running SQL queries, designing marketing dashboards, driving channel optimization analysis projects and generating actionable marketing insights.

This is critical role for the organization and requires an individual with effective communication skills, outstanding business acumen, and the ability to work across various functional teams and internal partner teams. We are looking for individuals who are self-starters comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience using BI Tools (Tableau, OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy)

  • Experience in online advertising/marketing/sales/digital media

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
