Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Seattle, Washington. The role entails overseeing financial procedures, maintaining compliance with various regulations, and working closely with our finance team. This role is primarily involved in the processing and maintenance of financial records, tax filings, and internal control assessments in an industry setting.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with CPA firms to file US federal, state, local, and Canada income tax returns, including extensions and quarterly income tax payments.
• Prepare and submit various tax filings such as US sales, use tax returns, Form 1099s, and franchise tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local authorities by forwarding required information promptly.
• Assist in researching international tax matters and work closely with the finance team.
• Oversee end-to-end financial processes, including recording journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Execute and review balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies as they arise.
• Identify gaps in internal control and implement necessary controls within the finance, business, or accounting organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain required accounting files during annual audits and efficiently respond to inquiries from internal and external financial statement auditors.
• Provide financial support to the management team in analyzing operations performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance financial performance.
• Review new business contracts and assess their operational and accounting impact.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Director.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
• Must have experience in Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with General Ledger is important
• Should be capable of making Journal Entries
• Microsoft Excel skills are essential
• Must be able to handle Month End Close tasks
• Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
• Oracle skills are highly desirable
• Experience with SAP is preferred
