Providence St. Joseph Health Speech Language Pathologist (Part Time) - PACE/Elderplace in Seattle, Washington

Description This position will require traveling to see patients. This position is responsible for Speech-Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) evaluations and implementation of the Speech Therapy plan of care in accordance with PACE policies. The Speech-Language Pathologist works with the Interdisciplinary Team and is responsible to communicate and coordinate with the IDT as well as multiple outside providers, caregivers and family members. The SLP Speech Therapist functions independently and may see participants in multiple settings including the PACE center, participant homes, Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and nursing homes. This position will not perform any cognitive assessment but will focus on communication and swallowing issues. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program. Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire. Or Washington Speech Language Pathologist Permit upon hire. Or Washington Speech Language Pathologist Temporary License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience working as an SLP in a geriatric setting. Why Join Providence?
