Pinterest, Inc. seeks Software Engineer II in Seattle, WA: Job Duties: Develop and build tools within the stack to help advertisers gain a deep understanding of their ad performance and generate insights to make strategic decisions about ad campaigns. Design and build data processing algorithms and APIs around tracking and reporting against conversions. Develop across the whole ads stack, adding better reporting, novel insights, and better tools for advertisers. Integrate with third-party data processing tools. Telecommuting is permitted. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Spark; (2) Algorithms; (3) Scala; (4) Java; (5) Kafka; (6) Hadoop; (7) AWS; (8) NoSQL database. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted. Salary: $190,391.82 - $234,665.00 per annum and standard company benefits.
