Flexe, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for its Seattle, Washington office.
Job Duties: Responsible for architecting and implementing software systems that directly impact customers. Contribute to the entire Software Development Life Cycle from conception to release by working with stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver large-scale technical products that enhance customer experience. Design reliable cloud-based software systems at scale. Build and maintain highly scalable ETL pipelines and data-driven software systems. Develop software features related to customer services. Propose new software features and develop roadmaps. Perform debugging to improve and enhance system performance. Build systems using Service Oriented Architecture or Microservice design patterns. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing reliable cloud-based systems at scale
- Utilizing programming languages including Java
- Developing software features related to customer services
- Proposing new software features and developing roadmaps
Performing debugging to improve and enhance system performance
