Amazon Senior Social Media Manager, CCR Social team in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon is seeking a high judgment, well-organized, self-motivated, and creative digital communicator to manage organic social media within Amazon’s communications organization. This position is based at our Seattle headquarters.

The Global Social Media team oversees dozens of Amazon social accounts across the world on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok. This role is on the North America team, which manages our "flagship" @Amazon handles. We also advise executives and other teams on social best practices, strategies, and trends. As a Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll lead Amazon’s LinkedIn strategy, while planning and executing engaging, informative, entertaining, and community-building social content—all with an aim of strengthening Amazon’s corporate reputation. This involves collaborating with several key partners, including our LinkedIn reps to understand platform updates and trends, Amazon’s international social teams to coordinate content, and Amazon executives and PR teams to promote Amazon’s top priorities on topics like retail, AI, sustainability, Prime Video, and more. At the same time, you’ll measure the LinkedIn channel’s performance, set benchmarks, and continue optimizing our content through data-driven insights.

As a successful candidate, you'll have a proven track record of rolling up your sleeves to strategize and execute innovative, top-performing social content that keeps getting better over time. You should live and breathe social, meaning you’re familiar with the full spectrum of formats (text-only, photos, short- and long-form video, animations, memes, etc.) and tactics (creators/influencers, partnerships, community management, issues management, etc.). You should also have an intimate understanding of the current digital/social media landscape (especially on LinkedIn), be a strategic thinker, goal oriented, and excel in a fast-paced, start-up culture. This is a role that requires both strong creative and analytical chops—on a team that works hard and has fun.

• Working horizontally: Provide advice to executives, PR, and international social teams on social best practices and strategies, demonstrating a high degree of comfort communicating with leaders.
