Creative Circle, LLC Senior Public Relations + Community Engagement Manager - 30034 in Seattle, Washington
Our public involvement and communications client is looking for a full time Senior Public Relations + Community Engagement Manager with strong AEC/ government experience to join their team! This is a full time direct hire position. Location: This is a hybrid position with at least 1-2 days per week onsite in the client's Belltown, Seattle, WA office. There will also be periodic onsite community engagement events throughout King County. In this role, you will be responsible for: -Managing defined scopes of work, budgets and timelines, supporting clients to develop and implement public involvement strategies on time and within budget -Facilitating community meetings/ workshops/events -Designing and implementing communication and public involvement plans -Thoughtfully and equitably engages communities on projects - Leading teams on multiple projects of varying size and complexity - Develop and oversee high quality, public facing materials (i.e., engagement plans, communications plans, website content, fact sheets, email updates, surveys, questionnaires, press releases, social media and a range of other project materials), and other activities as necessary to support thoughtful, equitable and culturally relevant community engagement The ideal candidate will have: -10+ years of experience leading and designing public involvement and communications programs for AEC, government and/ or other community driven clients -A background in public relations and consulting with a focus on community engagement -Expertise in public involvement, communications, outreach and facilitation strategies Benefits are health plan (medical premiums covered 80% by S&A, dental and vision premiums fully paid), short- and long-term disability insurance (S&A pays premiums), an ORCA transit pass (fully subsidized), 10 paid holidays, 15 days of PTO in the first year, use of on-site gym and lockers free of charge, and eligibility for retirement plan with company match after one year of employment.
