We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive growing and improving our current payment product portfolio and launching the next generation of payment products leveraging the latest innovations and technologies in the payments industry. With the focus on addressing the needs of self-service customers, you will conduct customer research, define the product vision & roadmap, work closely with the technical teams to deliver new products and features, oversee end-to-end testing, define go to market strategy, and manage post launch operations. In certain cases where we need to partner with third party providers, you will manage these partnerships to provide industry-leading service and customer experience.

Key job responsibilities

• Conduct customer research and understand customer needs

• Define product vision, strategy, and 3 year plans

• Conduct financial analysis for products

• Analyze data to inform product strategy and performance

• Define product requirements, minimum viable product, and ensure they are properly prioritized

• Partner with the engineering teams to execute against the roadmap

• Collaborate with external partners such as financial institutions and fintechs

• Provide leadership updates

• Payments experience is preferred

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
