Starbucks is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our UX design team in the marketing space, an important part of our company effort for reinventing internal tools and customer facing experiences. You will be responsible for inventing, executing, and refining digital products across our marketing platforms including digital menu boards in-store and in drive-thru.

As a Senior Product Designer on the Marketer Portfolio team, you will play a key role in supporting and reinventing the complex workflows of our creative operations partners. Your ability to influence strategy, be a design leader, and work cross-functionally with multiple teams in Design, Engineering, and Product Management teams is crucial. You’re a fierce advocate for the Starbucks customers and partners. You have a passion for making design accessible for all, and understand how to engage with and work alongside UX research to answer big questions. You have visual design chops, understand product process and delivery, and recognize how to bring UX to the work in a productive and engaging way.

· Feature Definition: Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize features that address business needs, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms.

· Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interactions for new features, leveraging and expanding upon existing design patterns.

· Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with other product designers, providing constructive feedback to elevate the quality and consistency of our collective work.

· Data-driven Design: Collaborate with data scientists and user researchers to assess the effectiveness and impact of your designs, making informed decisions to enhance user satisfaction.

· Prototyping and Tooling: Utilize Figma and other design tools to build and prototype designs, quickly iterating based on feedback.

Innovative Collaboration: Bring creativity and a positive attitude to collaborative efforts, contributing to a dynamic and enjoyable work environment.

We’d love to hear from people with:

· Professional Experience: 3-5 years of product design experience, ideally in building and shipping digital products at scale. While the number of years is important, we place greater value on the quality of your design and the impact it has had on customers.

· Mapping Skills: A portfolio showcasing strength in outlining difficult concepts in easily digestible ways. Ability to bring cross-functional teams together to visualize experiences and services that effect both front end and back end teams.

· Strong Visual Design Proficiency: A portfolio showcasing strength in innovative concepts, systems thinking, and polished visual designs with meticulous attention to typography, spacing, and color.

· Effective Communication: Strong ability to clearly articulate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and detailed design elements, both verbally and visually.

· Product Lifecycle Involvement: Proven experience in a product organization, driving the design processes from initial planning through to multiple successful releases.
