Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Patient Services Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Description The Patient Services Coordinator II functions as an integral member of the Organ Transplant team, providing support and coordination of patient care services through a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties. Works under the general direction of a provider or their designee, utilizing communication and administrative skills to coordinate seamless care delivery for patients in a surgical or non-surgical setting. Will act as a patient advocate to assure the patient's access to health care during their entry into and through the services of the clinic. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school. Medical Terminology Certification upon hire. 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e. physician's office, scheduler, etc.). Organ Transplant experience. Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations. Why Join Providence?
