Available in 14 countries, we offer regionally specific programming through a large network of approved training providers to support employees in taking the next step in their career towards in-demand jobs.

We are seeking a results driven Senior Marketing Manager to oversee Career Choice strategic communication across 14 countries in North America and Rest of world.

You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and analyzing big marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on increasing engagement for our associate population, driving awareness for top content and re-enforcing the Career Choice brand. Through strategic and creative thinking, leveraging customer insights, and demonstrating operational excellence, you’ll flawlessly execute a comprehensive marketing plan for the Career Choice Program and develop campaigns that increases associate engagement.

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnership across teams such as Product, BI, Internal Communications, PR and Policy to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment.

You will build, deliver, measure, and refine strategies for associate engagement, and retention.

Key job responsibilities

You will have demonstrable expertise in data-driven lifecycle marketing strategy as well as campaign execution and measurement. You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity as we test our way into new marketing placements and channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with significant ambiguity, have strong ownership, can work successfully across global teams, and have a good sense of metric based decision making.

Takes a data-based approach, including coordinating A/B tests, to measure success and deliver results, focusing efforts on campaigns that successfully connect eligible associates with relevant resources and participants and graduates with upskilling opportunities.

Operationally executes on defined strategy with our internal partners, undertaking the campaign creation process through deliberate communications plans including content, materials and recommended channels and coordinating partners to deliver against business objectives and campaign goals.

Unpack marketing insights using A/B testing and targeted communications to help paint a picture of the hourly associates marketing dynamics and behavior in collaboration with Associate Experience & Product.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • Portfolio of work demonstrating digital storytelling capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross functional marketing programs

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills - decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate and inspire others

  • Proven track record working with cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to deliver results

  • Strong analytic approach and experience leveraging customer insights to drive decisions

  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Proven ability to influence others using storytelling through data including cross-functional leadership

  • Excellent project management skills including managing diverse stakeholders, external agencies, and multiple campaigns simultaneously

  • Natural curiosity to measure, test, learn, and iterate through A/B testing

  • Marketing agency experience in a customer-facing role is a plus

  • Experience with strategic planning and execution of large-scale marketing campaigns

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Significant years of public relations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
