Amazon Senior Manager, Employee Engagement, Selling Partner Experience (SPX) (I/O) in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Senior Manager of Employee Engagement is a strategic leader responsible for creating and executing programs that cultivate a culture of inclusion, innovation, growth, learning, and connection with our selling partners at SPX. This leader will influence and lead l through the SPX Leadership Team (LT) and other key stakeholders, drive and own employee listening and action programs, nurture community and drive leadership and development initiatives. This leader works closely with global employee experience teams, technical assistant (TA), executive assistant (EA), and SPX events/production teams to deliver an awesome employee experience within SPX. Key responsibilities:

• Employee Experience Strategy: Develop and own the employee experience strategy, translating it into a calendar of complementary, coordinated events and messaging that aligns with SPX’s mission and vision.

• Strategic Employee Experience Communication: Lead strategic employee experience communication efforts, including (personal) emails, newsletters, and All-SPX meetings, ensuring our team members understand our mission/vision and their role in driving it forward.

• Employee Listening and Action Programs: Listen to employee feedback, leverage tools like Auris, and implement and track programs to address concerns and identify gaps, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Visibility of SPX Leadership: Creates opportunities for SPX leadership to be visible, messaging the organization’s strategy, and show up as a unified team

• Culture of Risk-Taking and Safety: Fosters a culture of risk-taking and safety, celebrating innovation and learning from failure to foster creativity and resilience within the organization.

• Connection with Partners: Own programs that enable teams to connect with sellers, vendors, customers (as sellers, with sellers), fostering collaboration and relationship-building opportunities.

• Community Engagement and Giving Back: Creates programs that provide opportunities for SPX employees to give back to the community, supporting corporate social responsibility initiatives.

• Event Facilitation: In partnership with TA and EA, facilitates various events including: L7+ quarterly meetings, L8 monthly meetings, Quarterly LT offsites.

• Member of the SPX Leadership Team: Act as an active member of the SPX LT, anticipating issues and impact, ensuring proactive communication, and equipping SPX leaders with relevant content.

• New Employee Onboarding: Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding program for new employees at SPX, including facilitating connections with SPX LT members.

• Award and Recognition Program: Create and execute an employee award and recognition program to celebrate and acknowledge outstanding contributions within the organization.

• Holiday and Cultural Celebration Events: Ensure promotion and coordination of events around global holidays and cultural celebrations to foster inclusivity and engagement.

• Support for Employee Resource Groups: Assist with initiatives such as SPS Women in Tech and SWLC to support employee resource groups and their objectives.

• Metrics and Reporting: Owns P0 metrics, employee engagement -focused goals, employee experience section of the SPX Quarterly Business Review (QBR) documents, and potentially People Experience and Talent (PXT) QBR (together with PXT).

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of team management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing communication strategies and leadership development initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
