Trimble Senior Financial Analyst in Seattle, Washington

What You Will Do We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! In this role, you'll leverage your FP&A expertise to enhance our financial performance, applying digital tools, building accurate forecasts, and crafting insightful financial models. Your analytical skills and strategic mindset will drive process improvements and cost efficiencies, and you'll collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Supply Chain to identify opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations that influence key business decisions. If you're skilled at balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, we want to meet you! Strategic Business Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, R&D, or Product Development leaders, bringing financial insights and strategic recommendations. Financial Oversight: Manage core accounting functions, including month- and quarter-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and offer clear, data-driven insights that reveal the story behind the numbers. Data-Driven Forecasting: Analyze financial data, generate reliable forecasts, and provide proactive guidance on potential risks and opportunities in financial plans and budgets. FP&A Leadership: Lead complex financial analyses, produce accurate bookings, revenue, and churn forecasts, and use data-driven models and reports to uncover trends and improve business performance. Strategic Presentations: Prepare data analysis and financial materials for key mid-quarter and quarterly business reviews, contributing to executive decision-making. Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify ways to streamline processes, build new BI reports, and foster continuous improvement across finance functions. Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with finance team members to review and enhance financial forecasts and performance insights. What Skills & Experience You Should Bring Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience, with 10+ years in progressive finance roles showcasing a track record of driving change and delivering impactful results. Analytical Expertise: A critical thinker with advanced Finance and Accounting skills, exceptional analytical acumen, and strong reasoning abilities. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with hands-on experience in Workday Adaptive Planning (or similar tool), ERP systems (Oracle or Netsuite is a plus) and BI tools. Proactive Problem-Solver: A "roll-up-your-sleeves" self-starter who can seamlessly shift between detail-oriented tasks and strategic thinking. Organized & Self-Directed: Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to operate independently with minimal guidance in dynamic and ambiguous environments. Strong Communicator: Articulate and engaging, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Industry Experience: Proven track record in high-growth environments within the Hardware and Software industries.
