Description Senior Cardiac Device Technician - Heart and Vascular at Swedish Arrhythmia & Device Clinic Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift Location: Cherry Hill Area, Seattle, Washington Job description: The Senior Device Tech works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff and office staff to effectively, efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician, and/or mid-level providers. Duties and responsibilities will include interrogation and assessment of implantable cardiac devices which include pacemakers, defibrillators and implantable loop recorders, as well as management of remote transmissions. The senior device technician will work closely with device clinic RN's and will be under the clinical supervision of the implanting physicians. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Health or science related field or equivalent educ/experience. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist. Preferred Qualifications: Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS). Completion of ATI training. Why Join Providence?
