POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, Customer Account (Amazon) will own the internal communication and building of data analytics to support the team’s needs, while also being responsible for the analytical sales work to deliver on our key Amazon annual business goals. This position is accountable for capturing specific sales data on our business (what) with supportive insights (why) in the tracking of our business, proactively coming with recommendations to the Customer Team based on data and fact-based information to support recommendations. This includes areas such as forecasting, business planning, financial analysis and additional process improvements to track our business reporting.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leads in analytics – utilizes tools available as well as builds, creates and customizes data tracking to support our business needs

  • Leads pulling together forecast updates with key changes to share out at the monthly customer forecast review in collaboration with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) and Director

  • Has a deep understanding of customer needs / priorities and leverages data to proactively provide business recommendations

  • Collaborates with the CAM and Director in the teams planning process around identifying strategic opportunities, analyzing, and aligning with the team’s business plans

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams by leveraging both syndicated and shipment data to drive forecast updates and adjust the forward-looking plan

  • Constantly maintain and update customer sales plan to meet customer objectives while operating within company guidelines

  • Add key insights and trends specific to the customer assisting in the development of In-Market Planning, Quarterly Business Review, Monthly Business Review decks and any other as requested by leadership

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years experience with data analytics / systems, Amazon preferred (Vendor Central, Stackline)

  • 3+ years experience working in analyst roles in traditional CPG companies

  • 3+ years working with Sales forecast / Trade funds management (TPM) systems

  • High proficiency in report building from raw data. Converting database downloads to user friendly front end to support decision making

  • Previous experience collaborating with Amazon preferred

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to analyze multiple levels of data to make valuable business recommendations

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under demanding time constraints with a focus on driving results and meeting required deadlines

  • Experience negotiating and influencing decisions

  • Ability to collaborative cross-functionally on deliverables

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Can work in a fast-changing paced environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint

  • Effective communication skills and comfortable in a "selling" role interfacing with the customer

The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
