Workday is searching for an individual with a passion for market and competitive research to join our world-class team as a Senior Competitive Intelligence analyst.
About the Role
At Workday, we are committed to delivering outstanding results and our Competitor Intelligence team plays a strategic role in providing competitive insights to Workday's leadership team. As a Competitor Intelligence Analyst, you will develop competitive intelligence research and provide unique competitive insights to senior leadership. Also, you will participate in strategic cross-functional projects. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your insights will directly contribute to our success. Responsibilities: * Research and analyze competitors which includes understanding their product offerings, evaluating their financial performance, and understanding their sales and go to market strategies
- Develop and deliver competitive insights to leadership
Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team on critical initiatives
Gather intelligence that will improve Workday's competitive position
Develop strong cross-functional relationships across the organization
About You
Basic Qualifications: * 4+ years of SaaS market research and analysis experience
Other Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid understanding of the enterprise software applications landscape
Strong business sense with the ability to use existing experience and research to be credible across a wide range of industries
- "Get it done" mentality - willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous and capable of effectively balancing multiple projects at once
Drive and desire to take on additional responsibilities over time in a high growth environment
Willingness to travel domestically (less than 20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry experience is a plus in relevant Workday industries e.g. Financial Services or Professional and Business Services
