Insight Global Security Operations Analyst in Seattle, Washington
Job Description
Entry-level experience or internship in IT or information security.
A basic understanding of security principles and technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, and incident response protocols.
Some experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar security platforms.
Ability to independently handle routine security events using established procedures.
A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a focus on learning and development.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines.
A willingness to assist with training junior analysts and share knowledge within the team.
A focus on implementing procedures and solving problems within established standards.

Skills and Requirements
0-1 years of experience in information security, with hands-on work or academic experience.
Familiarity with security tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk) and EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike).
Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix, MacOS) and network security fundamentals.
Familiarity with basic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
Exposure to cloud security tools and technologies.
Experience in applying security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
At least one industry certification, such as Security+, Network+, or similar, or willingness to pursue certifications null
