We’re looking for a results-oriented Account Manager who is passionate about partnering with our advertisers to make effective, analytically driven marketing decisions. As an Account Manager, you will manage and deliver against difficult advertiser goals and problems to drive revenue and exceed revenue targets. You nurture customer relationships, identify/close revenue driving actions and develop your client’s portfolio. Additionally, you will be able to leverage Amazon’s proprietary data to provide strategic and personalized campaign recommendations to meet your customer’s business goals. This role is highly collaborative, working with Creative, Sales, Product and Retail partners. The Account Manager’s strategic digital expertise is considered critical to unlocking greater value and impact for our advertisers.

Key job responsibilities

• Use knowledge of Amazon Advertising full-funnel ad products and measurement to craft tailored proposals for customers.

• Hit or exceed revenue targets for assigned book of business.

• Achieve assigned non-revenue business objectives and goals.

• Own all facets of the account management process for medium to large accounts, and develop strategic relationships with key points of contact.

• In partnership with the account team, develop annual brand and media strategies that map to customer objectives.

• Use first-party and third-party insights to build pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight campaign-level recommendations that lead to revenue outcomes or increased customer satisfaction.

• Advocate for customers internally, and utilize internal resources, to drive customer success.

• Educate advertisers on performance metrics, category trends/approaches, and consumer insights using existing and/or customized insights.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital advertising and client facing roles

• Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

• Work experience in digital media including display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development.

• Proven track record of delivering revenue results and significantly contributing to customer success

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills with experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers

• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

• Have good judgement and use large datasets to solve problems that span business and technology

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize, to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-changing business

Preferred Qualifications

• Programmatic advertising experience

• Strong analytical experience

• Salesforce proficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
