This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) to join our Family Medicine Clinic .

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 100% FTE

  • 8 hr Days, M-F DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Harborview Medical Center's Family Medicine Clinic offers personalized medicine that includes preventive care, as well as evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.

Our healthcare professionals are board-certified in family medicine and treat patients of all ages. Our healthcare professionals provide a range of services including those specific to women's health. Other services include pregnancy tests, prenatal care, family planning, well-child exams, immunizations, hearing and vision screenings, psychiatric consultations, medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care.   • Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Business Operations Supervisor, Clinic Practice Manager and Clinic Medical Director

  • Provide leadership for clinic and divisional activities that promote delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving, communication, and professional development for self and others

  • Serve as a role model and provide guidance to other staff including review and evlauation of performance

  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to prescribe, prioritize, delegate, coordinate and provide safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients/families

  • Make independent decisions and take action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient problems and situations

  • Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
