UWMC - Montlake Respiratory Care has an outstanding opportunity to hire a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our Respiratory Care Team.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 36 hours per week

  • Three 12 hour shifts DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Located at UW Medical Canter Montlake, the Respiratory Care Department utilizes advanced techniques and high level patient care to meet the needs of Seattle, it's surrounding communities, and beyond. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize the respiratory care process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to recommend, delegate, coordinate and proved safe, therapeutic respiratory care to patients

  • Make independent judgments/decisions and takes action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient issues

  • Collaborate with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the respiratory, medical and nursing plans of care.
