AIR's Education Statistics program area is seeking a Research Associate to support a variety of sample survey studies, administrative studies, and/or longitudinal studies. Examples of studies include National Household Education Study, National Training, Education, and Workforce Survey, School Survey on Crime and Safety Survey, National Teacher and Principal Survey, High School Longitudinal Study, Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Middle Grades Longitudinal Study, the Public Libraries Survey, and the National Museum Survey. Responsibilities The responsibilities for the position include: Provide support for a variety of sample survey studies, administrative studies, and/or longitudinal studies. Examples of studies include National Household Education Study, National Training, Education, and Workforce Survey, School Survey on Crime and Safety Survey, National Teacher and Principal Survey, High School Longitudinal Study, Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Middle Grades Longitudinal Study, the Public Libraries Survey, and the National Museum Survey. Provide support to the operations of data collection, including activities related to interviewer training, user experience testing, monitoring field operations, and creating indicators of data collection. Conduct data analysis and reporting of survey results and methodological survey research. Support the drafting and review of statistical products such as data documentation, analysis reports, and blogs. Conduct basic statistical analyses to produce summary statistics. Conduct data quality assurance checks. Support qualitative research projects with schools, teachers, parents, and districts. Conduct literature
