Responsibilities The Gallo laboratory is part of the Center for Integrative Brain Research (CIBR). The CIBR is a multidisciplinary and highly interactive environment. The Research Associate will join a collegial, collaborative, and highly productive team studying development and function/dysfunction of the neonatal brain. Responsibilities:We are seeking a Research Associate I-Bench to play a dynamic role including laboratory research, mouse genotyping, ordering lab supplies, maintaining stocks/reagents, shipping and receiving, research compliance coordination (i. e. biosafety, IACUC), etc. Requirements Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, neuroscience, molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, or related field.- Minimum one (1) year of laboratory research experience.Preferred: - Previous experience with techniques in molecular biology and biochemistry.- Familiarity with computers, including data entry and spreadsheets.- Experience analyzing data using spreadsheets and statistical analysis. Min to Max Hourly Salary$21.94 - $32.90 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$45,627.00 - $68,440.00 /yrSalary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. The union pay ranges can be found on the Seattle Children's website here: - Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
