$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology Clinic . Radiation Oncology RNs provide care to patients of all ages undergoing radiation therapy for cancer.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, with some call responsibilities on weekends
Day shifts
RNs work a mix of 3 day workweeks and 4 day workweeks
Position is part time / 75% FTE PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Educate patients and their families on symptom management
Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care referrals
Support patients undergoing TBI prior to transplant
Document patient care outcomes in our EHR system (Epic)
Perform phone triage
Answer patient calls and eCare messages
Monitor patient flow in the clinic REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of current or recent oncology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Active BLS
Must be willing to work with pediatric patients
