$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology Clinic . Radiation Oncology RNs provide care to patients of all ages undergoing radiation therapy for cancer.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Monday - Friday, with some call responsibilities on weekends

  • Day shifts

  • RNs work a mix of 3 day workweeks and 4 day workweeks

  • Position is part time / 75% FTE PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Educate patients and their families on symptom management

  • Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care referrals

  • Support patients undergoing TBI prior to transplant

  • Document patient care outcomes in our EHR system (Epic)

  • Perform phone triage

  • Answer patient calls and eCare messages

  • Monitor patient flow in the clinic REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of current or recent oncology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience

  • Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State

  • Active BLS

  • Must be willing to work with pediatric patients
