*About the Position: *Serves as a Project Manager and Technical Manager responsible for providing project management services, planning and feasibility studies, design, and construction management expertise for military programs and projects. Assignments involve the entire range of military planning, design, and construction-related projects in cooperation with Agency headquarters, major military commands, Installations, and program stakeholders in accordance with law and regulations.
Duties
- Monitor overall program execution to include assisting customer in development, revisions to current/future year programs, managing budget, execution of assigned projects and initial operation.
- Integrate stakeholders' needs, organizations functions, and other agencies' commitments into a comprehensive management plan in support of assigned projects.
- Represent the Commander serving as the District's primary point of contact for assigned projects with sponsor/customer, Federal, State and local government agencies.
- Serve as a Technical Manager on design and engineering for assigned projects, including design studies and/or planning and design projects for new construction or major modifications to existing facilities and systems.
