Our team is looking for a customer obsessed, data driven, results-oriented, and analytical Senior Product Manager to manage one of our key, highest visibility business areas. In this role you will be tasked with initially managing and streamlining operations and managing partner relationships, with a goal to build a product plan and automate several currently manual processes as we progress through the year. In addition, you will lead and provide data analysis for Homepage WBRs.

A successful candidate will demonstrate customer obsession and ownership to lead multiple cross-functional initiatives; be able to simplify and draw meaningful, accurate conclusions from complicated, diverse data sets; demonstrate user empathy and understanding and be able to turn user interactions and data into clear product requirements; and have solid business and marketing instincts and acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence are also required.

Key job responsibilities

  • Streamline our interactions with key marketing and tech partners across Amazon

  • Build data- and marketing-driven tradeoff frameworks and timelines that guide decision-making and optimize for the best customer experience and outcomes

  • Partner with our BI team to measure and improve Homepage KPIs within specific Homepage experiences (Hero, Window Display) and Homepage-wide WBRs

  • Make high judgment decisions and strategic recommendations on the right content mix and timing

  • Build a product roadmap to automate currently manual processes (calendaring, approvals, tradeoff decisions, etc.)

Roles on the Homepage team are inherently high impact and require working across multiple technical and non-technical teams, giving us a unique opportunity to influence and learn about multiple lines of business within Amazon. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
