Oracle Principal Program Manager - Business Operations in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

Our Principal Program Manager (PM) will perform their responsibilities in an executive-facing Business Operations team supporting an infrastructure engineering organization in OCI. This PM will lead employee engagement programs, workforce planning, MBR and OKR work and annual efficiency planning/tracking, etc. For these initiatives, you are required to define strategies for programs, identify business impacts on the organization, drive execution, effectively communicate project status, and share project information with executive stakeholders. This position is part of a small lean team of high-performing PMs who report directly to the Chief of Staff for an SVP. This is a very high visible, extremely fast-paced role, regularly managing multiple programs with visibility up to the VP/SVP levels of OCI. The ideal candidate will have excellent judgment, ability to juggle multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and experience briefing senior executives on a regular basis.

Location: Seattle, WA - 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting short turnaround deliverables and asks across a variety of Business Operations focus areas, employee engagement programs, workforce planning, MBR and OKR work, annual efficiency planning/tracking, etc

  • Independently define requirements and schedule for complex projects

  • Demonstrate strong solution management and critical thinking in support of senior executives’ objectives

  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and workstreams

  • Host regularly scheduled status meeting with senior stakeholders

  • Maintain a strong bias for action, iteration, and improvement to achieve desired business outcomes

  • Manage communication and collaboration for cross-department / cross-functional teams

  • Develop documents and artifacts for Business Operations workstreams using MS Office tools

  • Prepare communication plans and strategies for stakeholder engagement

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading business processes and coordination cross-functionally

  • 8-10 years relevant work experience in program and project management

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience

  • Ability to effectively represent business operations perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership

  • Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level

  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

  • Continuous improvement mindset and exceptional process improvement skills

  • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence

  • Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment

  • Highly analytical, operationally proficient, and able to learn quickly

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
