Amazon Principal Product Manager Tech, Regulatory Intelligence Safety and Compliance in Seattle, Washington

Description

The RISC (Regulatory Intelligence, Safety & Compliance) Product team is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager-Tech to drive the vision and strategy building out foundational risk assessment functionalities.

Our team's mission is to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies while enabling our Selling Partners to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving a multi-year vision for developing foundational risk assessment tools that keep customers safe. You will be responsible for facilitating external partnerships as well as working cross functionally with internal teams spanning business, engineering, design, category management, machine learning, customer service, legal, and operations functions to effectively implement your solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
