Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery by performing pre-operative assessments and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.

  • Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery.

  • Administer medications and fluids as directed by the physician.

  • Assist with patient positioning and ensure a sterile surgical environment.

  • Provide post-operative care and monitoring to patients, including pain management and wound care.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques.
