*In this position you will:  *

• Support grades 6-8 in Math and Science via whole-class support, small group tutoring, and one-on-one tutoring, as well as supporting relationship building during lunch at Licton Springs K-8 School (3015 NW 68th St, Seattle, WA 98117)
• Work with students on foundational math skills like decimals, fractions, ratios and proportions, and early algebra
• Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
• Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills 
• Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
• Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
• Get paid $23/hour
• Accrue paid sick leave

Schedule:

• Start Date: February 11th, 2025
• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 10:30am to 2:30pm, Wednesdays from 10:30am to 1:30pm
• 19 hours a week
• Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs
