The International expansion oversees Amazon Business Canada, Mexico and new launches. This role is for our Amazon Canada Team. Launched in October of 2019, Amazon Business Canada is applying the same entrepreneurial and innovative approach that delivered the Amazon.ca shopping experience, new technologies, products (like our Amazon Echo, Kindle e-readers, and tablets), and enterprise services (like Amazon Web Services). With our drive to reinvent on behalf of business customers, we are focused on building Amazon Business into the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between) from every industry vertical. You are a strong leader who can influence executives, prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly and understand how to deliver excellent results within a strong and talented team, as well as, being able to drive change across other organizations. The role requires innovative thinking and a strong customer and quality focus.

We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth of the Amazon's B2B business. As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible of owning Engagement initiatives to drive repeat spend, feature adoption and loyalty among small business customer segment (SSR). In collaboration with PMs and other stakeholders (local and Global) you will develop GTM plans for impactful marketing and CX initiatives to drive engagement, spend and feature adoption. A Marketing Manager is expected to conduct customer research and analyze existing customer and performance data. Successful candidate will be able to work comfortably with both qualitative and quantitative data, and able to turn data inputs into business actionable insights.

Key job responsibilities

  • Implement cross-channel marketing campaigns from concept to launch (email, mobile, onsite) that aims to hit plan. Successful candidate will be equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level

  • Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end: you will design experiments, develop campaign strategy, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion

  • Own and manage merchandising process

  • Own reporting performance metrics on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to the leadership

  • Partner with the central marketing team to localize new feature launches

  • Develop and champion bold and creative ideas

A day in the life

  • Develop marketing campaign using Amazon internal tools

  • Prepare weekly performance reports

  • Meet with the Central Marketing team on a weekly basis

  • Partner with the vendor managers and seller managers to market new selection.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience in professional non-internship marketing

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

  • Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management

  • Experience in e-commerce, start ups, advertising, commercial

  • Experience using data visualization tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
