Interested in leading a team of Amazon Payment Products Marketers? We are looking for a Manager of Marketing to lead customer engagement efforts across on and off-Amazon marketing channels. The role is ideal for a high performing team manager who thrives in a fast paced environment and can lead a team to develop marketing strategies with a high-bar for creative, message, channel, and segment.

You will lead a team of marketers who drive customer engagement across a suite of consumer facing payment products, partnering with financial institutions like American Express, Discover, and many more. You will be responsible for building an annual plan, championing marketing initiatives to open up new and existing digital advertising channels for payments, and coaching your team to earn trust, scale efficiently, and deliver results. Key channels you will focus on are Amazon.com, financial partner channels, paid advertising, and more. You will guide your team to build partnerships with data science, visual design, and product managers both within the Payments organization and across Amazon. The role requires creativity and focus on scale, you will guide your team to build and execute customer focused messaging and advertising for a growing list of partners. You will help your team to define the right message, at the right time, to encourage customers to use our products. In parallel, you will pay special attention to regulatory and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for diving into the data and sharing the performance of your team's initiatives - course correcting and scaling to deliver results. You will share your customer engagement results on an ongoing basis with senior leaders within Amazon and bank partners.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing leader who can think strategically and execute flawlessly. To be successful you’ll need to be an effective thought leader and a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams, and coach your team to do the same. You will influence other teams, as you build business cases to open new channels for payment products. If you are organized, analytical, and a data driven team manager, with an interest in independently owning your channel roadmap, this is a great role for you. We are seeking a detail-oriented marketing leader to lead a team through new product launches both on and off Amazon, and optimize the results by testing and learning with various messages and channels.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders

  • Experience in e-commerce, digital products or entertainment industries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
