Amazon Lead Visual Designer & Producer, Devices & Services | Leadership & Culture in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Visual Designer and Producer to join our Leadership and Culture team. The ideal candidate will be an expert story-teller and have experience with a broad range of media and interaction types. They will partner with our specialists in Employee Experience, Executive Success, and Internal Branding to amplify the stories and successes of our teams and leaders to inspire, motivate, and engage our global workforce. They will accomplish this through focused content strategy and creation and creative storytelling.

They should have experience designing and developing digital content through diverse mediums, be an excellent communicator (written/verbal), and have a great eye for usability and judgment for when/how to leverage graphical solutions to convey information.

Key job responsibilities

─ Provide digital media assets such as photographs, graphics, and videos

─ Create and maintain excellent relationships with internal customers and co-workers

─ Analyze and establish new processes and/or improve existing processes, to bring efficiency, productivity, and positive customer experiences

─ Scout and develop new story ideas into exciting products that delight our customers

─ Deep dive into the creative process encompassing script development, casting, budgeting, edits, music and final cut ensuring bar raising content

─ Partner with multiple internal teams including Talent Acquisition, Employer Brand, and Business Leaders from pitch to launch

─ Display a passion for content, championing creators and stories and constantly look to innovate, while raising the bar for high quality storytelling

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of design experience

  • Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators

  • Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation

  • Have an available online portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions

  • Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
