Responsibilities The IT Logistics Technician provides administrative and technical support, and manages all tasks relating to the operations and functions of the IT Logistic Department with regards to all aspects of Asset Management, including hardware replacements and reclaiming outstanding hardware. * Under direct supervision from senior team members, provide service desk support and resolve problems to practitioner's satisfaction, including, but not limited to: * Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.Process and assist with laptop replacements due to hardware issues and/or warranty/lease replacements. Evaluate and escalate to the appropriate party, either the vendor(s) or internal depot, as needed. * Provide desktop/laptop support including assisting with new hardware setup, imaging, and deployment. * Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. * Assist with logistics of hardware delivery and reclaims from remote users, including tracking and creating shipment labels using FedEx Ship Manger. * Ensure all documented processes are followed to ensure Baker Tilly's data and assets are protected. * Utilize and maintain the internal ticketing system (Easy Vista) * Maintain accurate Inventory, including: * Update and maintain inventory of all equipment in Easy Vista * Process reports from the vendor(s) and internal depot to ensure assets are up to date and accurate at all times. * Vendor management, including: * Work closely with the vendor(s) to provide service to end users, including but not limited to, hardware replacement/refresh and new hires hardware standards. * Have an understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions. * Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise, including: * Complete initial start-up plan (e.g., training) to develop a solid understanding of the organization's core technologies. * Continually attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current. * Apply understanding to increase efficiencies, technical ability, and interpersonal skills. * Other duties, To view the full job description,
