POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Director of Human Resources, you will build trusted advisor

relationships with all levels of management across assigned client groups;

partner with client business units to apply HR management principles and

knowledge to establish rapport, trust, confidence and credibility with management

and employees. The Director/ is responsible for the development, implementation,

administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one

or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, HR operations,

employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a data driven HR organization that will support the 4500 Oracle Cloud InfrastructureTeam in a phase of rapid growth

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business/culture to provide vision,strategic leadership and high level communication across the organization

  • Formulate and execute global organization-wide programs and initiatives (e.g.workforce planning, salary/bonus/stock review, employee engagement, retention, organizationalchange, performance management, and top talent and leadership development)

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the executive leadership team by developing strong,proactive and collaborative working relationships

  • Act asthe point contact for senior leadership to provide guidance on strategic HR initiatives

  • Utilize a data driven approach to identify keytrends in the business and proactively provide solutions

  • Lead a team of HR professionals by providing guidance on team objectives, coaching and mentoringthe staff

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation,

presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem

solving.

  • 7 years of experiencebuilding, leading and managing an HR Team at a hightechnology company

  • 12-15 years total HR experience

  • Self-directed leader withprior experience at a rapid scaling company

  • Ability to work in faced paced environment on bothstrategic and tactical levels

  • Ability to build trust andcredibility between Human Resources and the client group

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships quickly

  • Businessacumen skills are essential for success

  • Strong teamcollaboration and management skills

  • Ability to interacteffectively with all levels of the company and lead presentations to executive leadership

  • Providesubject matter expertise in employment/labor laws and regulations

  • Stronganalytical and decision making skills

  • Polishedverbal and written communication skills ; and, effective problem solving ability

  • Must beself-directed and possess the ability to quickly learn anduse internal systems and tools

  • Ability to execute on business strategy within aglobal matrix HR organization

  • Travel as required

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.

Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Successful track record as a generalist and manager. BA/BS degree.
