Robert Half Healthcare Litigation Paralegal in Seattle, Washington
Description
A mid-sized Healthcare Law firm is seeking to hire a professional and dedicated full-time Litigation Paralegal who is ready to join their downtown Seattle team of legal professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to Attorneys in all aspects of healthcare litigation.
Conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research, document preparation and filing.
Help in the preparation for depositions, mediations, and trials.
Assist in drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motions while maintaining case files accurately.
File pleadings with court clerk, arrange for service of process, and draft and proofread motions.
Organize exhibits, case files, and other supporting documents.
Assist the legal team with client, expert and witness interviews.
Review medical records and analysis of medical chronologies.
Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, Paralegal certificate is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Able to work under tight deadlines and handle complex legal matters.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
Solid understanding of medical terminology

3+ YOE as a Litigation Paralegal
Experience working in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, or Insurance Litigation
Experience preparing Medical Chronologies
