This person will need to work hybrid from our Seattle office location two to three days per week. Accolade's internship program runs June 9th-August 15th, 2025. Role overview: * As a Full Stack Software Development Engineering intern, you will be an integral part of our development team, working on real-world projects that impact our users. * You'll collaborate with experienced developers to design, implement, and test new features, as well as help maintain and improve existing code. * This role will provide hands-on experience with our tech stack, development processes, and best practices in software engineering. * You'll also participate in code reviews, team meetings, and learning sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to our innovative solutions. A day in the life... * Attending a daily stand-up meeting with the development team to discuss progress, plans, and any blockers. * Working on assigned tasks or user stories, such as implementing a new feature, fixing bugs, or optimizing existing code. * Collaborating with designers and product managers to ensure the implementation aligns with user requirements and design specifications. * Participating in code reviews. Attending learning sessions or workshops to expand your knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies. * Testing and debugging your code to ensure it meets quality standards and performs as expected. * Updating project management tools (e.g., Jira) to reflect task progress and communicate status to the team.
