Sales Representative - Financial Institutions Heartland is partnered with some of the most prestigious financial institutions in the country. These partnerships are the backbone of our shared growth, and it starts with great people. As a Heartland Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions, you'll be the charming liaison between our cutting-edge financial tech products and our beloved financial institutions. While growing their business, everybody wins! You'll develop strong relationships and help grow our business by spreading the word about our amazing SaaS, Ecommerce, Payroll, and Payment solutions. Your responsibilities will include attending branch meetings, cultivating leads, setting appointments, and educating business owners with your wit and wisdom as you uncover solutions to help them meet their business needs with Heartland's innovative technologies. We're looking for a superstar who can sell face-to-face, over the phone, and even online using the latest meeting technology. Compensation for this role is based on performance, and you'll enjoy aggressive weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership as you meet and exceed your targets. Essential Duties Regionally travel to your Financial Institution partner's branches daily, where you'll be the rockstar they look forward to frequently seeing. Communicate all activity with your branch partners. Listen intently to your customer's needs, and match them with our fantastic products and services that will take their business to the next level. Prospect for new leads, respond quickly to inquiries, and consistently close new merchant accounts every single month. Be a problem-solver: overcome any customer objections, issues or concerns to ensure the sale. Provide impeccable service to your merchants, building long-lasting relationships that keep them happy.Stay up-to-date with Heartland's latest hardware, software, programs, and services so that you're always ready to offer the latest and greatest solutions to your customers. Skills/Capabilities Generate a list of prospective businesses and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close, with experience in self-sourcing clients as a huge plus. Attend training and team meetings with Heartland co-workers Host meetings with your bank partners to keep them informed on our newest software solutions Market additional Heartland products and services and share leads with others when appropriate Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect's needs. Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery. Leverage Atlas (our sales enablement tool) to manage all sales activities. Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Heartland.
