Long Description

EXPERT FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)

Evoqua Water Technologies LLCs Pittsburgh, PA, office seeks Expert Field Service Technicians (multiple openings) to initiate, control, and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This is a fully remote position with a heavy focus on project on-site duties, and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States when not required on site during construction activities. Duties include: (i) creating and maintaining safe working environment and cultures within the organization; (ii) anticipating and correcting safety issues (iii) executing the necessary contractual requirements in view of project execution; (iv) planning works according to critical path schedules; (v) attending and/or leading site meetings to report progress and updates; (vi) participating and leading daily construction activities.

Must have five (5) years of experience in a related industrial design build construction position.

Experience must include five (5) years with/in: (i) industrial water treatment technologies; (ii) critical path scheduling with resource loading; (iii) leading various sized assembly teams; (iv) geomembrane and geosynthetic material specifications, layouts, and constructability with a focus on quality control; (v) detailed report and product specification sheet writing; (vi) creating detailed plans and project documentation; (vii) process design and improvement following Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies, (viii) project management and building processes/best practices; and (ix) SAP and Analytics tools.

Must also have a technical certificate, degree, or industry specific licenses, such as Project Management Professional (PMP); Professional Engineering Technologist or Technician; Certified member of the International Association of Geosynthetics Installers (IAGI); HSE courses such as OSHA 10; or Certification on the set-up, operation, and maintenance of various types and models of Geomembrane Welding and Testing Equipment with special focus on DemTech equipment.

Experience can be concurrent.

Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs and bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basic. Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as needed, with exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.

Must be willing to travel both domestic and international to various locations to provide technical support up to 50%.
