Panopto Director of Global Partnerships in Seattle, Washington
Panopto is looking for a self-motivated and analytical Director of Global Partnerships to join our growing team. In this high-visibility role, this person will be working with our global sales leadership teams to secure, build and manage partnerships. In addition to building relationships, you have the ability to manage the full lifecycle of a marketing partnership across prospecting, contracting and developing growth strategies.
About the Role
The Director of Global Partnerships is responsible for managing Panopto’s global resellers, referral partners and other partnerships that better enable the global sales teams to enter new markets and sell to our target customers. You will also be responsible for creating a partner program to bring consistency to how we manage our partners on a global basis. You will also:
Build a comprehensive partner program that rewards high performance and provides structure to how we build and manage partners on a global scale
Seek new partners that will help us enter the new target markets or ecosystems
Collaboratively work with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal to ensure our ability to help the partners serve our target markets
Build models and frameworks to show our partners the business opportunity of working with Panopto
Create and manage marketing collateral and presentations to be used by partnership team for pitches to both prospective businesses and higher education institutions
Manage strategic relationships, having a diplomatic approach to negotiation, and strong project management skills
Have deep understanding of the video management industry, competitive landscape and be able to articulate the strategic advantages of partnering with Panopto
An ideal candidate will know how to build comprehensive partner programs and implement them consistently across the various types of partnerships we have globally. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, a successful candidate has the ability to work creatively and collaborates well with other sales and business leaders within Panopto. You don’t have to check all the boxes, but these are some of the skills and experiences that we think are important for this role:
Experience building, implementing and maintaining a global partner program
Experience negotiating complex agreements with resellers, channel partners and building out referral relationships globally
Excellent communication skills - written, verbally, and with Video (we use our own product)
Experience with Financial and Data Modeling
Key interpersonal traits: motivation, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics & integrity, and a willingness to take calculated risks
