Job Description

An employer is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer in the Seattle, WA area.

This entertainment company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to join their consumer business division. They are dealing with large amounts of television and digital data around their customers. This person will be responsible for their Data Warehouse as they evolve into a more cloud based environment. Someone with AWS and Snowflake experience would be a standout candidate. However, if you have an expertise in Python for developing ETL pipelines, data warehousing, and some cloud experience, this could be a fit for you. Skills and Requirements

Experience building robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using Airflow, SQL, Python.

Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing.

Data Warehousing Experience with Redshift

Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources.

Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Pig, Spark, etc.) such as S3, EC2, and EMR (Spark) etc. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in AWS environment preferably AWS Certification completed.

Software engineering mindset and strive to write elegant, maintainable code and you're comfortable working in a variety of tech stacks

Practical Knowledge of Linux or Unix shell scripting

Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive null
