Job Description Customer Solutions Consultant Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in WA Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Customer Solutions Consultant, you will utilize all Fastenal supply chain and inventory management solutions. Using these you will prospect for new sales opportunities along with growing existing business. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: oManaging the assigned "Book of Business" oMeeting and exceeding key performance metrics oSeeking and developing new business partnerships oExpanding market share and profitability of current business partnerships oCollaborating with National sales teams, local sales teams, and leadership on customer specific strategies oFacilitating the establishment and execution of value generating programs oDeveloping and presenting business review meetings with customers within the "Book of Business" oContinuously providing exceptional customer service REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed oPossess 2 years of related industry sales work experience oExcellent written and oral communication skills oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite oHighly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills oDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency oWork independently as well as in a team environment oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment oWillingness to travel 50% + with overnights required oDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: oPossess a degree in Business, Marketing, Operations or a related field of study oDemonstrate knowledge of material management programs and cost savings documentation o Prior experience in key account sales ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
