Cognizant Technology Solutions Cloud Architect- Azure/GCP in Seattle, Washington

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Architect with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Cloud Dataproc and Cloud Dataflow. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture and data processing frameworks. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions that drive our business forward. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions using Cloud Dataproc and Cloud Dataflow. Oversee the development and deployment of data processing frameworks to ensure efficient data handling. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and development teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure the architecture aligns with industry best practices and organizational standards. Conduct regular reviews of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations. Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies to drive innovation. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet their needs and expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture. Qualifications Possess a deep understanding of Cloud Dataproc and Cloud Dataflow with hands-on experience. Have a strong background in cloud architecture and data processing frameworks. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Have experience in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance. Display strong leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members. Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until Dec 14th 2024.
