Are you passionate about solving business challenges at a global scale? Amazon Employee Services is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help unlock insights which take our business to the next level.

The ideal candidate will be excited about understanding and implementing new and repeatable processes to improve our employee global work force management experiences. They will do this by partnering with key stakeholders, being curious and comfortable digging deep into the business challenges to understand and identify insights toward standards to improve our ability to globally scale this program. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities who knows and loves our customers (internal and external) and will work back from the customer to enable self-sufficiency by providing simple, intuitive self-service tools reporting tools across multiple planning and operations teams. We will implement the overall self-service and user experience for stakeholders and partners by integrating our applications with other Amazon systems and platforms like our Customer Service staffing data and management system, and telephony metrics ensuring a consistent global experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React including knowledge of when to use them as well as experience working with deployment teams, dev ops, and / or AWS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
