  • Professional experience gathering technical requirements (very important). This BSA will be working with Architects and must understand the application functionality and integrations to build technical requirements for the development team.

Job Description

  • The company is seeking a Business Analyst to help build out a new team within the fraud department.

  • This new team will be building out brand new applications to integrate technology to battle shrinkage within the stores. The company is implementing solutions for fraud detection to prevent losses and preserve their customer's trust.

  • This BA is going to be focused on facilitating the business, creating relationships, establishing a roadmap, and seeing the high-level scope of work from year to year.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the development team to analyze, build, and align the platform backlog to meet business needs

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business priorities and gather business requirements

  • Develop detailed specifications for platform features and enhancements so they are clearly understood by the development team

  • Support prioritization of the platform backlog based on business need

  • Collaborate closely with authoritative sources and application teams to understand their roadmaps and align to the in-flight identity work

  • Engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) of new features and functionality

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver documentation for end-users

Requirements:

  • As a BSA, proven experience working in the Fraud and/or security domain.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 3+ years of related hands-on business analyst experience

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management tools and/or processes preferred

  • Strong requirements management skills including elicitation, scoping, prioritization, and risk/issues management

  • Confident in creating and delivering training and communications to various stakeholders

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working within an Agile project

  • Very organized, detail oriented, analytical thinker and problem-solver

  • Collaborative team player

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills – both with internal stakeholders across all levels and external vendors

  • Expert knowledge in PowerPoint & Microsoft Excel to produce accurate presentations and reports
