As part of the Operational Experience IS Portfolio, the Ground Network Service (GNS) & Transcon teams are responsible for migrating user functionality from our Legacy systems to our Exp.o system platform. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Product Owner and will be responsible for business analysis, systems analysis, technical requirements, documentation, and working with a development team to deliver business value and user functionality.
This Business Analyst position is a combination of business analysis and systems analysis. Business Analysts within the Ground Network Service (GNS) & Transcon teams are responsible for mapping information flow between our internal systems. This consists of analyzing an operational business process, defining data integration requirements, understanding how that information will flow between our internal systems, and distilling it into mapping documentation used to create code.
The ideal candidate for this position is a combination of both a Business and Systems Analyst with strong communication and facilitation skills, is a problem solver, is technically savvy, and can build relationships with both their team and stakeholders. You will use business knowledge, system analysis, and critical thinking skills to clarify requirements with stakeholders and have the team participate in collaborations to build user functionality.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform analysis on new feature development for our business applications
Create/understand system integration diagrams and perform gap analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders and translate business/functional requirements into easily understandable technical requirements and communicate those to various technical and non-technical audiences
Organize and facilitate sessions with stakeholders and business owners using system analysis and critical thinking skills to clarify requirements. Additionally, syncs with their agile team and the Product Owner to assist the team deliver business value and user functionality.
Document process flow and data processing logic. Clarify integration challenges and questions along with stewarding changes through the development pipeline. Outline roadmap for developing new features that deliver parity with as-is functionality and enable desired to-be processes
Lead cross-functional agile team to solve complex technical challenges, maximizing team productivity and velocity.
Participate in and prepare for scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, backlog refinement) and ART-wide/SAFe ceremonies such as PI planning, syncs, inspects and adapts, system demos, etc. with an eye toward continuous improvement
Contribute to team objectives for each Iteration (sprint) and Program Increment (PI)
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of Business and/or Systems Analysis experience or equivalent work in software development
Knowledge of or experience working with different data message types (e.g., XML, JSON)
Demonstrated ability to create technical requirements and mapping specification documents
Have experience in or a strong interest in understanding how various systems interact with each other, in order to triage bugs and come up with efficient solutions/recommendations.
Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to provide exceptional customer service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
Comfortable creating and presenting complex business and technical concepts to a broad range of audiences
Broad knowledge of database structures, data relationships, and data modeling
Possesses an advanced knowledge about information/data management best practices
Possesses agility for learning technical and business concept
Management of multiple and competing priorities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience or understanding of the transportation/logistics industry
Prior experience working with system-to-system integration and working on system migration projects
Experience with Agile or Scrum development practices and ceremonies
SAFe familiarity and/or certification
Effective at navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive toward clarity and consensus
Results orientated, willingness to commit to a direction and drive to completion
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office

Expected base salary: $85,000 to $135,000
